“There once was a mouse. The mouse was lost. She had no where to call home. A demon had chased her from her family. She was scared and alone. Then one day there was a cat who guided them to a new place. One where she could try to call home. The mouse spent most of her days just trying her best. But stumbled a lot. She still was missing something. Something important. One day a clever snake helped more to come to her home. A hazel tree began to grow. Small stars hung from it’s branches. At first, the mouse simply wanted to meet the tree. But slowly the tree became a place of comfort. A place where she felt safe. The mouse began to watch the tree grow and change. The tree’s branch becoming more encompassing. More like a gentle hug. The mouse slowly realized that the tree wanted love. So she took comfort from the tree. The tree returned the comfort. The tree offered love. At first the mouse wasn’t sure. The demon was their family. But the mouse came to realize. It shouldn’t love the

Libertypaw | Espion Apprentice She had to get away, she had to find somewhere else. She couldn't handle it. Tears flooding her face, the world was in that damn grey scale again. Peeks of gold hitting her vision but she didn't care. She sobbed, she had messed up. Again. Running until her legs were sore; she torn past the commons, past the Seeker trails, past the communal dens, just ran. Eventually her paws took her to her towards the flower field just before Babylon. She thought, her vision too blurry to fully tell. She finally collapsed on the ground sobbing, some of the sobs sounding like a choke mixed with a cough. Body shaking with each gasp for air. Only for the air to come back out as a sob. She couldn't tell if she was more scared or upset. She. Had. Just. Gotten. Over. This! Now she was going to have to put Hazelfrost through it again. She could die. She eventually curled up into a tight ball of mostly white fur. Sobbing. "I'm a fucking joke. A mistake..." she
Mousepaw | Espion Apprentice Mousepaw had felt better after surviving the sap. That had been scary but this morning she felt well enough to try and assist with another cat's project. After cleaning herself up a bit she had heard the news, a new prayer...for judging a cat. To change their name...Mousepaw had rested upon the Eye. She just needed to do this last thing, to be free of her birth mother finally. She had just left the Eye and was peering around the Seeker trails again, sniffing the air she eventually made her way towards the strongest scent near a tree "Miss Hazelfrost? I...I have something I want to tell you!" Hazelfrost (Seeker) Hazelfrost was going through some post-run stretches when she heard Mousepaw approach. While fighting the sap withdrawal, she unfortunately had to postpone her daily runs. As soon as she was cleared, she threw herself back into her usual routine. With everything that transpired, she needed something familiar and consistent. "Good morning," she
Mousepaw |Espion Apprentice Mousepaw had napped for what felt like forever. She didn't even get that hurt but perhaps it was nice to just take a nap. Without the threat of impending doom. Finally waking up Mousepaw yawned and stretched. Letting the bones in her back pop. After the deep stretch Mousepaw looked about. She had been sleeping near Remnant Meadows, the flowers giving off a soothing smell. Giving herself a little shake, she headed towards the Seeker Trails. Figuring she would find the one she was looking for there. Peering around the trails, she wasn't super familiar with them. She did occasionally like to run on them, pretending she was a super speedy Seeker. Other times she would note what flowers or plants grew on them, dreaming of making a garden. Both for the moment she was sniffing the air, attempting to locate the golden furred seeker...if she could see colors. Stupid sap. So she was having to rely on scent for the moment. Hazelfrost kind of reminded her of the scent

With the words of her mentor’s approval for her to do this fresh in her mind, Mousepaw stared at the tower. The white exterior almost seemed funny compared to the torment it held. She had been here once, when she was new to Haven. She walked in and tried to face her fears. Yet, she was still clinging onto one fear. Despite being so close to being considered an adult in Haven. She nearly turned away, unable to convince herself to do this. But she stopped herself, shaking her head. No. She had to do this or she would be stuck in this rut forever. Never able to succeed. At least…that’s how it felt. Mustering up one last ounce of courage she walked towards the tower. The entrance loomed ahead, the tower growing taller and taller with each step she took. The soft grass fading away eventually to stone. Looking down Mouse stared at the flooring, almost a perfect division of grass and stone. The stone cold and slightly gritty, yet the grass warm and inviting. Like it was encouraging her to
Health Haven Officer Disaster Relief: Drought A drought can be a serious threat to anyone. Some of it is dependent on what is causing the drought. If it’s just a time of little rain most would just be concerned with the effects of little rain. But if the drought is caused by a heatwave that could be more dangerous. For the proposals, I am going to be focusing on the most drastic part of a drought: a lack of water. I do have a few ideas I want to touch out when it comes to other effects of a drought. Part 1: Prevention/Preparation In this part, I wanted to go over a few prevention ideas of probably the biggest concern when a drought of either type occurs. Which is a lack of freshwater. While there is no way to prevent a drought from occurring, we can hopefully prevent a lot of the initial turmoil. This mostly comes in the form of doing some good preparations. I feel some of this can also be applied to food, which could also be a concern with a drought. Water Collecting: I
Songlilly | Novice Crafter It was a slow start to her getting up and around the Circle. While she was use to the Circle since she worked there, she liked having the option to move around. Standing up carefully, the small crafter was attempting to stretch out a few muscles. Her bad leg was still very sore, she was slightly surprised it hadn't broken when she got hit. She suppose that was thanks to the leg brace she wore outside of Haven. But she wouldn't get better if she just laid around all day. Hobbling a bit towards the edge of the circle Songlilly took a breath, a small wave of pain causing her to sit. Apparently she moved too fast. Hazelfrost (Seeker) Having spent the morning running up and down the Seeker Trails, Hazelfrost decided she'd earned a bit of time to relax in the commons. Normally, a thick, slightly raised root was her favorite resting spot, and she was just about to head there when something near the edge of the Crater's Circle caught her eye. "Are you
Mousepaw sat in silence listening to the other stories. Once the current story was done Mousepaw began to speak “Once a upon a time, there was a cat. She wasn’t the best fighter but she was respected in general. One day she lost everything: her family, friends, any allies, everything. All because a mystery event happened plunging the world into darkness. She walked alone in a world of black and greys. She craved love again, she craved to be with others again. She got her wish. She met an angel, a cat of pure white. He offered her a gift “I will give a gift of love. However, the energies are strange. You could be cursed.” he warned. But she accepted the gift. Soon she gave birth to four kits. One was an angel, the other three disturbed her. Three little demons. But she vowed to raise them, maybe one day purify them. She raised them in a loving manner, being a perfect mom.” Mousepaw gags for a moment before continuing. Taking a deep breath “She tried her best, to raise

Interdisciplinary: Marshtail teaching Blythe Seek
{Blythe | Vanguard} Seekers run and heal. That's all Blythe really could remember about Seekers. So it was a surprise somewhat to herself when she wanted to try seeking. She had sought out Marshtail, him being the avowed to Tigershout. The only thing about this trip that was semi-normal for Blythe was wanting to go to Everbloom. The place felt peaceful to her, the life there made her happy. While Blythe probably couldn't be described as a negative or sad cat, there was something different about her at the moment. She almost seemed more playful than when was in Haven. Skipping about, rolling in the grass enjoying how it felt on her paws. Coming back after a bit to keep pace with Marshtail. Or at least try to. Eventually stopped by a large tree where there was a bit of shade "Thanks for agreeing to do this." she offered. [Marshtail | Seeker] Marsh had been a bit surprised when Blythe approached him about learning to seek. Seeker had been earning a bad wrap, so for someone to come
