--High Holt: Beyond the Train Window

It was like she felt pity for those left behind in her home town, but in a way she was longing to go home. Her eyes stared out of the window watching as the landscape whizzing past blurred into a stream of greens and browns. She simply stared as she sat on the train, staring out the window watching the world go by. She wondered how her aunt and mother were doing without her, she may not have always been the biggest help but still she couldn't help but wonder. Were they worried about her? Were they okay? Why was she on the train in the first place?
